After a long, but very entertaining innovation class, these words seem to still rattle around in my head. "I made something..it failed." spoken by Cameron Maddox while discussing the advice given by Bud Caddell. "Build things. Make things.. and repeat 100 time."
Recently I was home visiting family and while rummaging through the old nic-nacs and keep sake I found my mom's OM-2r Olympus made in 1979. Along with the camera were two lenses, a Tamron 80-210mm and a Vivitar Series1 28-90mm. Being the impatient person that I am I jumped right in, bought some film and started shooting without once regarding a manual.
Of course after developing the film I found that I was not the great photographer I had set out to be, in fact I wasn't even in the ball park.
So this is the beginging of my journey to be a photographer. Roll 1:
(out of a 24 roll)
